Synopsis
Famous Indian environmentalist and activist, Vandana Shiva used to be a nuclear physicist in the university. She, however, has changed completely after participating in the Chipko movement in her hometown where women hug the trees to stop rampant deforestation. This documentary shows Shiva's ventures as an environmental activist who is covering broader issues since then. Monsanto, world's largest seed company is selling genetically modified seeds to India and to other third world countries and WTO grants them intellectual property rights over the GM seeds, taking sides with the monopoly capital. A neoliberal lobbyist gave her the 'Bullshit Prize' saying Vandana Shiva is making farmers poorer. But her striving continues to gain seed sovereignty and farmer independency. She will fight on to become a true 'bull shit' for the ecosystem.
