Synopsis
It's a documentary about the climate change induced sufferings of the Brazilian Pantanal, world's greatest wetland and also the largest flooded grasslands. Luciano Candisani is a photojournalist whose work reveals the wonders of the Pantanal. He is showing us how different the Pantanal looks now from before. Lakes are drying up from the droughts and life is dying. What on earth is happening in the Pantanal? Dozens of wildfires are happening everyday in the Pantanal from the long drought caused by climate change. The ecosystem is being destroyed ever so quickly. People continue to reclaim the wetlands and convert them to farmlands. And these activities lead to bigger floods in the rainy season. Does the Pantanal have any hope amid the vicious circle of disasters?
