Synopsis
Andre Hormann, Katrin Milhahn / 2021 / Germany / 96’ / 12세 이상 / HD Paul doesn't believe his father, who disappeared a year ago, is dead. He's teased in school and not really getting on with his mum. Believing that the only way to turn everything back to normal is proving his father is right, Paul begins a journey with a friend. In their journey lies the forest. The film is describing the adventure and growth of the boys but it also conveys the wonders of nature. The sky full of stars, the sound of crickets, and the glow of fireflies show how magical nature is. We get to realize that the forest the boys are exploring is an unknown, wild place and humans can never conquer nature. The nature-capturing camerawork and the two boys' performance make this movie even more touching.
