In 2050, Earth has become a dry and desolate place. Fighter pilot Nova is forced to travel back in time to prevent a devastating environmental disaster, however an unforeseen side effect of time travel makes Nova young again and she crash lands into 2025 as a twelve-year old. Nobody seems to take her and her mission seriously, except for Nas - a teen who tries to keep this mysterious girl and her little flying robot ADD out of the hands of the secret service. Maurice Trouwborst
Director Maurice Trouwborst graduated at the Utrecht University of the Arts in 2006. His graduation film JEF won three audience awards at national festivals. After graduation, he directed the TV drama URFELD and the Christmas viral A MERRY HUNT. More recently he is showrunning and directing the successful youth series FLOOR RULES, which is broadcasted in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Belgium and France. The series won both jury and audience awards at Cinekid and it won the International Emmy Kids Award for best series in 2020.
