Synopsis

n 2043, Melissa a young female sea garbage collector, lives and works on her sailboat with her dog named Cham. In a world where the is recycled plastic sells high, the Mediterranean Sea - the most polluted in the world, is a strategic and dangerous collection area. As she rides backs towards Marseille to unload her cargo, she saves a baby monkey from drowning and bind with him. A mysterious ship begins to tail her...

Nicolas Devienne

Nicolas Devienne is a French director and screenwriter of fiction and documentary. After an engineering degree, he decides to follow his true vocation and starts studying cinema. WILD is his first short film. He likes bringing scientific facts into fiction to tell the most realistic and inspiring stories, mainly about ecology and social concerns. He is currently working on writing his first feature film along with a serie for TV.
