베르너 헤어초크의 <그리즐리 맨>의 핀란드 버전이라 할 만한 작품. 한누는 자연에 대한 사랑과 유대감이 누구보다 강한 사람이다. 특히 희귀한 스라소니를 사랑한 그는 스라소니 언어를 말할 수 있다고 주장한다. 숲에 죽은 스라소니의 사체가 나타나자, 그는 동물의 마스크를 쓴 채 네 발 로 진흙탕과 덤불을 기고 냄새를 맡아 수수께끼를 알아낸다. 숲 전체에 숨겨진 카메라가 비현실 적으로 아름다운 장면을 보여주는 <스라소니 맨>은 우리를 둘러싼 주변 자연 세계의 아름다움과 인간이 그에 끼치는 영향을 보여준다. 한누가 아무리 동물과 조화롭게 살아가려 해도 인간이 스 라소니의 최악의 적임을 피할 수는 없는 사실이다.  

A Finnish equivalent of Werner Herzog’s GRIZZLY MAN, Hannu has a love and connection to nature that surpasses most. It is the rare lynx in particular that has bitten into Hannu’s heart - so much so that he actually claims to be able to speak its language. So when a dead lynx turns up in his forest, he dons an animal mask, crawls down on all fours and sniffs out the mystery through the mire and thicket. With hauntingly beautiful footage captured by hidden cameras throughout the forest, LYNX MAN paints a colourful and vivid twilight picture of the natural world around us - and of man’s impact on it.
