나무 꼭대기가 항상 구름바다로 감싸인 천국 같은 숲에는 조이와 냐카게지 가족이 살고 있다. 숲 의 관리인이자 파버(4)와 애비(2) 두 아이를 기르는 엄마인 조이는 음가힝가 고릴라 국립공원과 그 곳에 살고 있는 유일한 마운틴고릴라, 냐카게지 가족을 보살피고 있다. 조이는 아이들에게 야 생동물 보전이 얼마나 중요한지 가르친다. 어린 파버와 애비는 엄마의 유산을 따라 숲에서 그들 의 다른 가족을 지킬 것이다. 바로 우리와 98% 닮은 DNA를 가진 냐카게지 가족 말이다. 

A forest paradise covered by a sea of clouds that constantly caresses the treetops, where the protagonists of our story live: Joy and the Nyakagezi family. Ranger and mother of two children, Favour (4) and Abie (2), Joy dedicates her days to protect the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and more specifically to the only family of mountain gorillas that lives in its forests: the Nyakagezi family. This is the story of a mother who transmits to her children the values of wildlife conservation, so that in the future little Favour and Abie will follow her legacy and go into the forest to protect their other family. The one with whom we share 98% of our DNA and is called Nyakagezi.
