그린란드는 약 55,000명의 인구를 가진 나라이다. 세계에서 가장 큰 섬이지만 이 인구로는 웸블 리 경기장도 채우지 못한다. 야외에서 축구 할 수 있는 시간이 일년 중 반도 되지 않고, 그들의 국가대표팀은 FIFA에서 정식으로 인정받지도 못하며, 국내 챔피언십 경기는 여름에 딱 일주일밖에 열리지 않지만, 얼음으로 뒤덮인 이 나라의 모든 마을의 심장에는 축구가 있다. 빙하가 녹으면서 이 나라에 있을 것 같지 않은 국가적인 스포츠가 사람들을 하나로 모으는 이야기다.

Despite having less than half the year to play outdoors, a national team that FIFA refuses to recognize, and a national championship that lasts just one week every summer, football is at the heart of every town across this ice strewn country.
